How Many Emails can I send

The limitations below apply to all email account, web hosting accounts, mail groups and any other method used to send email through a Weycrest account.

These limits have been developed to ensure "fair usage," to clearly define limits and to guarantee a reliable and stable mail platform for all users.

These limits apply to each Cpanel and Plesk account. The combined combined total of all e-mail sent through your Weycrest account must not exceed these limits:-

• No more than 20 pieces of email per minute is permitted.
• Maximum of 1000 pieces of email over a 24 hour period for each cpanel or Plesk user.
• If these limits are exceeded your mail might bounce back as "undeliverable."

If you usage if likely to exceed the above limits we suggest you outsource your lists to a third party provider.

Weycrest no longer hosts websites which specialise in mass emailing on the shared hosting platform. Sites that deal in bulk mailing need to be hosted onto dedicated servers or VPS's as its not credible or fair to other users to tolerate delays during the heavy mailing sessions of others.

On our part there are also additional support and "cleanup" costs, and complaints caused mainly by the "mass mailers" themselves who have got themselves blocked by Spamhaus or CBL.
