How to Transfer a Domain Name AWAY from Namesco

Namesco Limited at names.co.uk trade under a variety of brands which include:

  • Simply.Com
  • CheapDomainNames
  • CheapNames
  • Hosts.co.uk
  • NDO
  • 123DomainNames
  • Net2

While the domain prices vary between the different brands they usually charge £11.75 per UK domain to change the IPS TAG so that you can move to Weycrest for hosting purposes (or another Hosting Company or ISP).

The transfer our procedure is identical for each brand as all share a common backend:

To start the Domain Name Transfer

Log into your online account at:

http://www.names.co.uk/controlpanel.html

or

http://www.simply.com/controlpanel.html

etc... click on the .uk domain name to transfer

click the "Transfer Options" link to the left

Go to "Option 3 : Change Nominet TAG" and click the link

enter the new Nominet IPSTAG in the box provided which if you are transfering to Weycrest would be WEYCREST
