Background

Weycrest is an Internet domain name and hosting service founded in 1999 by sysadmin and domainer Paul Lee formerly of Namesco and "Simply.Com Limited." The company specialises in Openvz and Virtuozzo hosting. Weycrest is also a Nominet member and Internet_Provider_Security "IPS Tag" Holder.

Main Business Activities

Currently nearly 2000 domain names and complex web sites under management and hosted at two data centres in East London, namely Redbus Interhouse now part of Telecity Group and Coreix based in Stratford, London.

Additionally, and in conjunction with "Awellconnected" the company setup a community "last mile" wifi ISP service on the Leamouth Peninsular.

Location

Weycrest is based close to Canary Wharf in Docklands London, its offices and Network Operations Center situated in Container City (built from recycled cargo containers) opposite the Millenium Dome at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
